VPN connected but no internet
An active VPN icon proves that the app created a local tunnel, not that it established a working server connection. Test the original network, subscription download, profile connection, and tunnel DNS separately.

Check the original network
Disable VPN completely and open several sites. Verify automatic date and time, then compare Wi-Fi with mobile data. Stop other VPN apps, system proxies, DNS filters, and network security tools during the controlled test.
Check the subscription
Refresh the URL in the client. A profile-list error belongs to the subscription domain, website TLS, account expiration, or secret token and can occur independently of VPN-node health.
After key reissue, remove the old subscription and import the new URL. The old one is intentionally invalid.
Interpret the error
- DNS error: test name resolution inside the tunnel.
- TLS handshake error: verify time, SNI, certificate, and core compatibility.
- Connection refused: the address responds but the service rejects the port.
- Timeout or SYN-SENT: investigate routing, packet loss, filtering, or firewall.
- Connected without traffic: inspect server outbound, routing, DNS, and MTU.
Controlled test
Test one profile and one HTTPS request, then compare a profile in another location. Record time zone, ISP, network type, app version, profile, and sanitized log lines for support.
Key reissue
Reissue only when the URL is exposed or access-key validation fails. It does not change the network route and does not automatically repair TLS or DNS.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the app say connected when sites do not open?
The local VPN interface can exist while the server channel or DNS remains unavailable.
Should I reissue the key first?
No. Test the network, refresh the subscription, and try another profile first.
